We Like To Help, LLC (the “Company,” “we” or “us”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. This notice describes our Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). By visiting HowToCloseADeal.com, you are accepting the practices described in the Policy. If you do not agree to the Policy, you should not use this website. We reserve the right to change the Policy at any time without notice. Please check this page periodically for changes. Please note that the Policy applies only to this website and to products and services offered by the Company, but not to other websites to which we may link, or to third parties or advertisers on our sites. In addition, your use of this website and products and services offered by the Company is governed by the Company’s Terms of Use Agreement (“the Agreement”), which is incorporated into the Policy by this reference, as well as by any other published rules pertaining to either this website or a particular product or service.
Children’s Information
We are committed to protecting children’s privacy. HowToCloseADeal.com is not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13. It is the Company’s policy to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and all other applicable laws. Therefore we restrict HowToCloseADeal.com to individuals eighteen years or older.
IF YOU ARE UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE, YOU MUST LEAVE THIS SITE IMMEDIATELY. NO INDIVIDUAL UNDER EIGHTEEN IS PERMITTED TO ACCESS OR USE THIS WEBSITE FOR ANY REASON. DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE USE OF THIS WEBSITE IS RESTRICTED TO INDIVIDUALS EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, WE DO NOT COLLECT ANY INFORMATION FALLING WITHIN COPPA AND WE DO NOT MONITOR HOWTOCLOSEADEAL.COM FOR THE COLLECTION OF SUCH INFORMATION.
How We Gather Information From Users
The Company collects two types of information: “Personally Identifiable Information” (such as your name, email address, street address, telephone number) and “Aggregated Information” (information that does not personally identify you such as collective information about traffic patterns on this website).
How we collect and store information depends on the page you are visiting, the activities in which you elect to participate and the products and services provided. For example, you may be asked to provide information when you register for access to certain portions of our website or request certain features, such as newsletters or when you make a purchase. You may provide information when you participate in sweepstakes, contests, message boards, chat rooms, blog comments and other interactive areas of our website. Like most websites, HowToCloseADeal.com also collects information automatically and through the use of electronic tools that may be transparent to our visitors. For example, we may log the name of your Internet Service Provider or use cookie technology to recognize you and hold information from your visit. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive. Among other things, the cookie may store your user name and password, if applicable, sparing you from having to re-enter that information each time you visit, or may control the number of times you encounter a particular advertisement while visiting our website, or may be used to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the products and services we provide. As we adopt additional technology, we may also gather information through other means. In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but if you do you may be unable to access certain portions of the website or may be asked to re-enter your user name and password, if applicable, and we may not be able to customize the website’s features according to your preferences.
What We Do with the Information We Collect
Like other websites, we collect information to enhance your visit and deliver more individualized content and advertising.
Aggregated Information may be used in many ways. For example, we may combine information about your usage patterns with similar information obtained from other users to help enhance this website and/or products and services offered on or through this website (e.g., to learn which pages are visited most or what features are most attractive). Aggregated Information may be shared with our advertisers, licensors, and business partners. Again, this information does not include any Personally Identifiable Information about you or allow anyone to identify you individually.
We may use Personally Identifiable Information collected on HowToCloseADeal.com to communicate with you about your registration and customization preferences; our Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy; services and products offered by HowToCloseADeal.com and other topics we think you might find of interest.
Personally Identifiable Information and Aggregated Information collected by us may also be shared with our affiliates, licensors, joint venture partners, business partners, technical consultants, third party auditors and other third parties who create or maintain this website, enhance its functionality or provide associated services and/or deal with you in processing or fulfilling your orders and/or delivering content, samples, products, services and gifts and prizes and may be used for other purposes, including but not limited to site administration, troubleshooting, processing of e-commerce transactions, administration of sweepstakes and contests, and other communications with you. Certain third parties who provide technical support for the operation of our website (for example, our web hosting company) may also access such information. We will use your information only as permitted by law. In addition, from time to time as we continue to develop our business, we may sell, buy, enter into licensing or other agreements, merge or partner with certain individuals, other companies or businesses or transfer all or substantially all of the assets of the Company. In such transactions, both Personally Identifiable Information and other user information may be among the transferred assets and we specifically reserve the right to transfer such assets. We may also disclose your information in response to a court order, at other times when we believe we are reasonably required to do so by law, in connection with the collection of amounts you may owe to us, to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, HowToCloseADeal.com, our users, or others, and/or to law enforcement authorities whenever we deem it appropriate or necessary. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Please note we may not provide you with notice prior to disclosure in such cases.
As stated in the Agreement, you agree that the Company has the right, without liability to you, to disclose your identity or any of your account or user or other information to law enforcement authorities, government officials, and/or a third party, as the Company believes is reasonably necessary or appropriate to enforce and/or verify compliance with any part of the Agreement (including, but not limited to, the Company’s right to cooperate with any legal process relating to your use of this website, products and/or services offered on or through this website, and/or a third party claim that your use of this website, products and/or services offered on or through this website is unlawful and/or infringes such third party’s rights).
Sometimes, we may send promotional offers to the Company’s customers on behalf of other businesses. If you do not wish to receive such offers, please contact us online or by writing to us at:
